Who are you? (We really wanna know)
I’m a nature lover , multi-faceted crafter, and a collector of all sorts.
What do you do?
When I’m not indoors crafting I’m out hiking, gardening, or working in the Columbia River Gorge. I collect many things: Snoopy, Pez dispensers, Hand spun art yarn and more!
What is your inspiration? (Why do you create?)
I’m inspired by wild colors, retro designs and nature.
How do you do what you do when you do what you do?
I do it in the most Phoebe-rly was possible. 
Your magic moment?
Seeing a new waterfall for the first time.
Walk us through your day of awesomeness
Well, when I’m not working my “real job” I start the day with a coffee or some carrot juice and check in on my Etsy shops, for sales, participating in “team functions” and to shop of course! I’m fortunate enough to have 81 miles of hiking trails in my backyard, so I try to make it out in the woods when time permits. Then I delve into the “craft du-jour”. I crochet, I make candles, I also love to paint, however all my painting are kept for myself or given as gifts, I can’t bear to sell any yet I play with the pets, I cook yummy dinners, I read, I work in the yard, and I spend lots of time on Pinterest.
In five years, where would you like to be?
I’d like to still be living in Portland, in my same house with orange walls and a killer view of the mountains. I will still be crafting, hopefully I will have mastered the art of spinning yarn. I hope to be much more involved in the local craft and art scene. I’d also still like to be working at my seasonal “real job”. I’d also like to be more organized.
Apart from creating things, what do you do?
Currently I’m going through training to be a Master Gardener, I enjoy my vegetable garden and all my flowers. I love to hike! Spring is my favorite when the meadows are full of wildflowers. I love to spend lazy summer days at Sauvie Island, soaking in the sun. I spend my free time traveling, camping, and shopping for funky stuff.
What advice would you give to those of the like-mind?
Do what makes you happy! That’s what it’s all about.

Who are you? (We really wanna know)
A professional artist for 15 years now, I have been creating all of the paintings to be featured and replicated in class. I’ve been painting and drawing since I was a child and began my formal fine art training in Atlanta GA in 1996. I have since continued across the country, stopping through Alaska, Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, California and most recently calling home Portland Oregon since 2008.
What do you do?
We’ve got the canvas, the brushes, everything you’ll need, not to mention a stack of aprons and the whole room covered in tarp, just in case… And it’s that easy!!! You just bring your favorite drink and something to snack on and one of our instructors will guide you through easy to follow step-by-step instructions
What is your inspiration? (Why do you create?)
I want to be able to wear a suit made entirely of gold.
How do you do what you do when you do what you do?
I do it well. Except Mondays, when I don’t do it at all!
Your magic moment?
Gosh, at least a couple of those every day…
Walk us through your day of awesomeness
Wake up, make a cup of joe, contact my secretary Aaron to start answering emails, then I walk over to the accounting department and talk with Aaron my bookkeeper, get our finances for the day together… Once all that is done, I head over to the studio and start working with Aaron on some new painting ideas or getting ready for class. Then our teacher Aaron walks our students through the step-by-step instructions to create their own masterpiece…
In five years, where would you like to be?
Opening more locations, creating an ever expanding vision for a full service art studio; helping beginners find there mojo and and delighting the senses of more experienced artists with master classes & fine art workshops.
Apart from creating things, what do you do?
Cooking, BBQ-ing, Eating, Listening to awesome music, Playjng chess, Dancing and Singing. Kung Fu.
What advice would you give to those of the like-mind?
Geez. Keep watching.

In Portland, running a successful art/design business. I love it here!

I spend a lot of time creating, even for fun. I like cooking, gardening, and decorating. I also enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with my animals, and encouraging friends in their life.

Spend time with what you enjoy in life, know you can achieve what you dream.
